Bicycles for all

JC Decaux and the Brussels region have launched a new sustainable mobility project called CycloCity.

What is it?

Safe and confortable city bikes are made publically available 24/7 at several transport hubs around the Brussels "Pentagon."

How does it work?

After having signed up for the service, you insert your card into a cyclocity kiosk, type in your PIN, and then take a bike from the stand.

When you're done, put the bike back in the stand at any cyclocity station, then flash your card infront of the optical reader on the kiosk. The kiosk will print a receipt if you need one.

What does it cost?

A yearly subscription costs 10 euros. Renting a bike is 50 cents for the first 30 minutes, and then 50 cents an hour.

How do I subscribe?

Before you can use CycloCity you need to subscribe and receive your card. You can do this via the [url=http://www.cyclocity.be/] website.

If you are here for only a short stay, you can use your credit card to take a short term ticket from any CycloCity kiosk or from the Brussels Tourist Office.

Where can I find a CycloCity station?

A map of working stations is available here
